Clean da Uku dis weekend!!!

I really love this wax...i use it to restore my old clocks in my house. Works really good on any finish really...very kind to any finish...

Da Tuning...

Love my tuner ITM-500 for those of you new to the Ukulele this is a great tool for tuning the ukulele. By default the tuner is set at 440mhz tuning...just turn it on remember our tuning is set for GCEA or Good Cooks Eat Alot...heh!

I also found this note chart you can download here just click on the photo

Da Recorder Sony PCM-D50

This is a great tool for the classes we have as well as to see how bad i really play....i like this one cause it is easy to get to the controls and the mics seem to have real nice pick up...but i also found that i can hook em up to my electric uke and record...not that i sound good or anything but it is nice to know i can do this....i

I have two new friends.....!!!

Hey everyone!,

I got two new friends this past week. Oh my god my UAS is bad..."ukulele acquisition syndrome"

The new uke is electric BugsGear EleUke Tenor TC100-MHP is real small for a tenor but it can go anywhere....and it is quite too...unless you got the amp hooked up to it....!!! The amp is a Roland Cube RX Guitar Amp...uses 6AA batteries and runs for hours....has a bunch of effects too. Little heavy but beats carrying around a generator....not that i will be having a concert any time soon...but it is kind of fun to see the different tones you can get out of one instrument...

You can see more on this uke here: http://www.eleuke.com/intro/c02.html

and the amp here but it is all in Japanese...http://www.roland.co.jp/mov/page/MonthlyPickup07/index.html

Mark da cords fast...

I think i found a good thing...check out this link for a self inking cord thing....

Music Mike made things Right!

I met with Music Mike today and he exchanged my broken Uke for a brand new one...I got a new Mango Tenor...it is super glossy.  Great player when it is tuned...strings are still new so breaking em in...he let me choose which one...this one i think has a Jesus face on the back...can you see it?

The song i want to learn...Angel of the light

Angel of the Light
Song:Tatsuro Yamashita
Lyrics: Alan O’Day

Here’s to all of you, the ones who feel
That Things we cannot touch, sometimes can be real
And when we close our eyes, we are Awake at last
To paint a brighter world than what we have

Maybe you’re like me, with eyes to see
Beyond the clouds of grey, possibility
Of rainbows in the sky, and graceful birds in flight
Where every heart is open to the light

Beautiful, I make it beautiful
Turning to my source of inspiration
Playing with the colors of creation

When I’m restless in the night
I call my Angel of the light
And soon I feel her love surrounding me
Bathes me in morning sun
She makes me smile at everyone I see
My universe is bright
I owe it all to her, my angel of the light

Flowers Bloom in May, Then fade away
And winter brings the white, Soon it’s out of sight
But I can stop the time, and capture God’s Design
Looking through this lens of mine

Beautiful, my work is beautiful
Taking from the silver dreams that guide me
Pictures of the world the way it could be

When I’m lost and all alone
I need a star to guide me home
My angel comes to shine her light on me
She tells me that me that my hopes and dreams
Are not as crazy as they seem to be
I’m on my knees tonight
I owe it all to her, my angel of the light

Bathes me in morning sun
She makes me smile at everyone I see
My universe is bright
I owe it all to her, my angel of the light
All to her, my angel of the light
